I have a 1977 Toyota Celica GT which is getting a 1uzfe-vvti transplanted into it. Before The first step in this project is going to be cleaning up the chassis. I have not been able to find a lot of good information on pinch welding techniques or welding patterns/spacing for strenght, ect.. If anybody has a link to some information that would be great. I plan to reinforce the chassis at the same time that I run down the existing pinch welds. I just would like a bit more info on pinch welding to see if it would be wise to add more pinch welds or just redo the existing weld positions as needed.
